If you have a lot of photos on your smartphone or digital camera, you can use Pixy to import them on your Mac and to organize them quickly and efficiently. It can help you find your pictures much faster and easier, thanks to its search capabilities. The application lets you perform usual operations as well, like copying, moving or deleting, which makes it an excellent alternative to managing photos in Finder.
The user interface has a clean and efficient layout and its modern design makes it quite comfortable. You can import images through a standard Open dialog or by dragging and dropping the files over the interface. Imported images are sorted automatically in separate folders, based on their parent folders on the hard drive. All folders can be found in the same list, on the left side of the window, which makes them easy to spot in any situation.
The application is capable of scanning for pictures, which can be quite useful if you misplace some of them. Additionally, you can make a series of fine tweaks, to scan for pictures from a certain time interval and with other properties. The software is quite flexible when it comes to finding imported pictures. Images can be rated individually, after which you can filter them, based on your own ratings. Alternatively, you can filter your pictures by their size, names or other other characteristics.
With Pixy's flexible functionality, any number of images can be organized quickly and effortlessly.
